Location: This is a trust-wide, national role based in one of the academies in one of the areas located in the South, London and South East, East Anglia or the West Midlands

Salary: Up to £30,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

REAch2 Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Compliance Officer to join the Trust in our growing organization, working with our academies. This will be a Trust-wide role, working in estates compliance and can be based in one of the areas covered by the Trust with the primary location located in Burton upon Trent.

The Trust has academies based all across England and includes schools at various stages of development, from those requiring significant improvement through to existing outstanding schools. Working proactively with the Estates Team and Trust staff to establish and maintain a safe and statutorily compliant environment for pupils, colleagues and visitors; the role supports the Estates Team, the Trust and the individual academies by providing operational management, documentation, record keeping, monitoring, auditing and statutory compliance services relating to the management, safety, maintenance and development of the Trust’s estate.

If you can offer:

  • experience of estates compliance gained in a facilities and/or property management role in a large, multi-site organisation, with multiple stakeholders, ideally within the education sector, or similar;
  • detailed understanding and application of compliance inspections and processes, auditing, risk assessment and report writing, together with sound judgment as to recommendations for improvements through to completion;
  • practical experience of term-maintenance / compliance contract procurement and management;
  • ability to act with discretion and confidentiality is a pre-requisite along with being highly organised and with meticulous attention to detail, whilst also working within tight deadlines is essential.
