The Cornerstone of REAch2 is a solid, unshakeable foundation, defined by exceptional teaching experiences and shared Touchstone values of learning, leadership, enjoyment, inclusion, inspiration, responsibility and integrity. These values are at the very core of the Trust, firmly embedded in all of our academies and embraced by our leaders, teachers, staff, parents and children alike.

Founded in 2012, REAch2 Academy Trust is the largest primary-only academy trust in the country. It is a growing charitable organisation currently supporting some 56 primary academies, around 18,000 pupils, across England.

The Trust is organised into four regions and includes schools at various stages of development, from those requiring significant improvement through to existing outstanding schools. As a Trust, we are clear about the importance of achieving long-term sustainability for our schools. Our vision is to enable individual academies to flourish, whilst also ensuring a strong ethos of support and collaboration across our schools.

We are presented with a rare opportunity to make a real difference to the lives and life chances of thousands of children – many of whom haven’t previously received the educational opportunities they deserve.

Data serves as a guide and the beginning of a conversation. It facilitates our understanding of what has happened and how we may move forward. It is not a single measure by which we should judge outcomes or solely base decisions on.

The trust’s commitment to Visible Learning is a key step forward in evaluating the effect we have on children and understanding what works.

“My role, as teacher, is to evaluate the effect I have on my students.”John A.C. Hattie, Visible Learning for Teachers: Maximizing Impact on Learning

Data is but one element in a process of triangulation alongside observation, evidence and engagement with pupils.

In order to deliver our vision, we need exceptional staff across the organisation, and we believe that the quality of our staff sets us apart. We are looking for an exceptional individual to develop and lead on education data and systems for the Trust.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Education Data and Systems Lead to join our central team and provide expertise across the organisation. The role will involve working closely with staff within the central team, academy staff and other stakeholders to drive improved outcomes across the Trust.

The successful candidate will have experience in data collection, management, analysis and reporting. They will also have experience in working closely with stakeholders to resolve complex issues and find innovative solutions to problems.

Those we recruit are able to demonstrate that they share our values, are highly motivated to work with colleagues within and beyond their role to continuously develop their skills and pursue professional excellence. If that is you, then we would be delighted to receive your application.

We offer a competitive salary plus pension, 28 days holiday, great career progression and development opportunities with many other benefits.
