Analysis of REAch2 end of 2019 Key Stage 2 results

The following results are based on the 48 schools with key stage 2 cohorts within the REAch2 Academy Trust.

Ofsted

85% of our academies have been rated as good or outstanding in their recent inspections. This is compared to 19% rated as such when they entered the trust. (19% does not include our new schools who had no previous rating).

The DfE performance tables show the results of all our academies, as well as our performance in comparison to other Multi Academy Trusts.

Analysis of REAch2 end of 2019 Key Stage 2 results

Our provisional 2019 results show 63% of REAch2 children achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths (RWM). This an improvement of 3 percentage points– triple the national improvement of 1 percentage point.

Length of time with the trust; based on our provisional 2019 results, our data shows a clear trend between duration in the trust and attainment:

• For schools who joined between September 2012 and July 2014, 64% achieved the expected standard in RWM.

Analysis of REAch2 end of 2019 Key Stage 1 results

Phonics

In 2019, 81% of children met or exceeded the Phonics screening score, and 91% of children in Year 2 met or exceeded the Phonics screening score.

In 2019, 100% of Year 2 children achieved the expected standard in the Phonics screening check in the following schools:

  • Pemberley Academy
  • Northfield St Nicholas Primary Academy
