As we continue to hear more about the coronavirus in the press and on social media, I am writing to reassure you that the REAch2 Academy Trust is continuing to follow the latest advice and guidance issued by Public Health England and the Department for Education. Our head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing is working closely with our schools to ensure that they are supported and will act without delay to any changes in the current situation.

A dedicated page on our internal communication platform has been created to provide all our schools with access to helpful resources and guidance and they are supported by a dedicated team committed to the safety of all our students. If you are a parent / guardian and have concerns, please discuss these with your child’s school, who will be able to support you.

If you have any concerns over your health, or have been in close contact with a person suspected of contracting coronavirus please refrain from sending children to school, always dial 111 and get specialist support first.

Please support your child’s school by adhering to government guidance in protecting the health of the wider school community.
