St Margaret’s Primary Academy is dedicated to ‘Simply Making Possibilities Achievable’ for all members of the school community.  We achieve this through providing exciting and new opportunities for children to experience such as our Year 1’s having the opportunity to go horse riding (and muck out the stables!) and Year 5 performed a flashmob in Lowestoft Town Centre! We have half-termly trips and visitors to engage our children in their topics, as well as whole school visitors, such as authors and musicians!  We also have a dedicated full time PE Coach and Forest Schools’ Teacher. We have a supportive Pastoral Team which includes Thrive trained practitioners to ensure the whole child and their well-being is well developed. In addition, we are committed to providing all staff with excellent CPD opportunities including a research project on Visible Learning with John Hattie.

As a result of having great impact in 2017/18, we will continue to offer our children three class teachers across two classrooms to ensure all children make exceptional progress and teachers develop collaborative teaching practices.  We would like to appoint an inspiring and passionate class teacher, with phase leadership responsibility, to our motivating and committed Team. We are looking to recruit a teacher, with phase leadership responsibility, who is:

  • Passionate and determined to improve the standards and provision for all children through mentoring and coaching a team of teachers and learning support assistants.
