Post: Deputy Directors of Education required for our North and South Regions working in the East Anglia, West Midlands and London and South East areas (up to 10 posts)

Cluster of academies:

North – Cluster 1:             Cannock, Staffordshire, Telford and Wolverhampton

North – Cluster 2:              Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire and Lichfield

North – Cluster 3:              Rugby, Atherstone, Birmingham and Nuneaton

South – Cluster 4:              Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin, Harlow and Aylesbury

North – Cluster 5:              Lowestoft and Beccles

North – Cluster 6:              Essex, Clacton on Sea, Colchester and Ipswich

South – Cluster 7:              Croydon and West Sussex

South – Cluster 8:              Kent, Gravesend, Bexley Heath, Purfleet and Deptford

South – Cluster 9:              Reading

South – Cluster 10:           London – Waltham Forest, Chigwell, Dagenham, Leyton and Romford

Salary:  £80,000 – £100,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be passionate about primary education and have a proven track record of highly successful leadership.

We seek applicants who are highly skilled at motivating, supporting and challenging Headteachers and senior leaders within a clear system of accountability. Working with a small cluster of academies (up to 8), you will be energetic and determined to help our schools to be the very best they can be through your strategic leadership, development of school-to-school collaboration and targeted intervention.

You will be:

  • Bringing significant leadership experience within a successful primary school, federation or Multi-Academy Trust
  • Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and key stakeholders including the Department for Education, RSCs, local authorities and Ofsted.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of raising outcomes and clear evidence of securing educational improvement.
  • Determined to develop the skills and professionalism of REAch2’s teachers
  • Able to travel around your cluster as required.
