Post: School Business Manager

School / Location: Green Park Village Primary Academy

Contract: Temporary with view to becoming permanent as the school and the role expands.

Hours: Initially 1 day/week, term-time only, plus four weeks during holidays – gradually increasing, as the school grows, to full-time, all year round when the school is full.

Working Pattern: 8.30am – 4.30pm with 30min unpaid lunch break.

Start Date: ASAP

At Green Park Village Primary Academy we are looking for a talented individual to join our operations team. One of the key projects for this role will be to develop our on-site Nursery into a successful entity for the school, therefore good business acumen is essential.

You will need to have experience in leading and motivating teams and a strong understanding of business. The successful candidate will be:

  • A strategic thinker;
  • Experienced at school business, finance and resources management;
  • Skilled at managing systems and people;
  • Able to think creatively and problem-solve;
  • Innovative in using new technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Good communication and organisation skills; and
  • Excited by the prospect of this role
